News update Australian Freight

News update - AUSTRALIA – After the positive reports in February regarding the trading position of UGL, the infrastructure group, their rail division have announced this week a further A$100 million order for freight rolling stock and wagon orders from QR Limited (Queensland Rail).

The order is for 4 x C44ACi locomotives and 160 x QHBH freight wagons for operation in the Hunter Valley plus 200 x VCB freight wagons for operation in the Bowen Basin. The wagons will be constructed throughout UGL Rail’s facilities in Australia including those in New South Wales and Queensland.
